Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL GLENN STEWART It is with great sadness, but relief that the family of Samuel Glenn Stewart announce that he has gone to his final Resting Place on November 3, 2000. Sam was born in Roland, Manitoba on April 20, 1937 where he lived and received his education at the Roland Collegiate. During his lifetime, he worked at many professions and as a result made many friends. Among these careers he taught school, worked in a bank, bartended, managed offices and his last place of employment was with the Manitoba Pool Elevator in Graysville, Manitoba. For the last several years, Sam struggled with the complications of Childhood Diabetes which caused him to be a tri-weekly patient to the Dialysis Unit at the Health Science Centre and several times to the Intensive Care Unit where he succumbed to this disease. Sam weathered the loss of a leg and loss of sight but with great determination lived on. We thank the Care Givers who helped him in his struggle for life. Sam was predeceased by his mother and father, Annie Laurie Stewart and Merton Elwood Stewart of Roland, Manitoba and also brothers, Bobby, Jim and Max; sister Wilma; sisters-in-law, Bernice and Dorothy and brother-in-law, Johnny. He is survived by brothers, Don (Wilma), Tom (Jocelyn) sister Joyce (Tim) sister-in-law Mildred and many nieces and nephews who dearly loved him as he did them. May you Rest in Peace Sam. We love you. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with Rev. Jim Penhale officiating. Ash interment will take place at the Fairview Cemetery, Roland. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
